Netherland local, Lotte van Drunen went 1-1 for a perfect weekend in Arnhem. Relishing the tough and sandy terrain, the 18 year-old has been doing lots of laps in the sand in preparation, including a wildcard in MX2 in Lommel. Nobody had any answers to the sand abilities of van Drunen, who took the lead early in both races and pretty much rode away. Race One saw her cross the line 28 seconds clear and the next race was a 21 second gap, so untroubled and confident, she heads into the final round in second spot. Our own multiple world champ, Courtney Duncan, went 5-8 for an overall 6th for the weekend. Duncan now sits at 4th in the championship, only six points behind van Drunen with one round to go( Australia), so our Kiwi Flyer could get a top three championship finish yet..
