FORZA ORZA, LETTENBICHLER STYLE
Mani Lettenbichler tightened his hold on the Hard Enduro series with a dominant win at the inaugural Forza Orza event in Orsa, Sweden. Fifth in the prologue, he was in second place after the one-hour sprint event. The main race saw Mani take the lead and build it up to over six minutes before he took a tumble and nursed his KTM home with some damage. His lead to Mitch Brightmore was down to just over three minutes at the end but the points were in the bag despite Brightmore riding well and hard all weekend. It seems that his Romaniacs-winning form is still well and truly in place as he sets his sights on that title. Would you bet on him not taking the crown?
FARRES FIGHTS FOR TITLE LEAD
Triumph had a good day at the MXGP Of The
Netherlands with Camden McLellan taking his third overall victory in the round ahead of Sasha Coenen( KTM) and his teammate Guillem Farres, who leads the FIM MX2 title chase. With a lead of 25 points over Coenen and McLellan only 12 behind that, Triumph is looking pretty good as the season nears the end but, in motocross, nothing is guaranteed until the last race. Numerically, the top three are not out of the woods but current form does suggest a slugfest between the three with friendly fire between the two Triumph riders and no apparent team orders, just a level of respect between the two. The threat of Sasha Coenen remains potent, so no letting off is in the plan.
