LAWRENCE BROTHERS BATTLE
Hunter Lawrence took out the AMA Pro Motocross crown in the MX1 450 game ahead of his younger sibling, Jett. The standings in the title quest had been see-sawing between the brothers for a few rounds but Hunter had a better day than the injured Jett, who was nursing an injured ankle. If racing AMA Motocross can be called nursing. For the record, the brothers Lawrence, between them, won 20 of the 22 motos and traded the red plate between themselves six times. Teammates and brothers, nothing like a little sibling rivalry. Anyway, with Hunter taking the title ahead of Jett and Cole Davies doing the deed in the 250 class, the ANZAC contingent pretty much head home with the silverware. They didn’ t win the overall round but hey, when you have just taken the big prize, it doesn’ t matter so much, huh? It does show just how good the talent over here really is with the world very much looking towards our shores as a place that really does produce a bunch of top racers.
KTM TAKES FINAL ROUND AT IRONMAN

Racing had a great day at the office at Ironman 2026. Jorge Prado took the overall round victory in the 450 class and his teammate Julien Beaumer took the honours in the 250 fray. It was a clinical display by the team, possibly one of the best of the season but they wait for next year to see if they can start where they have just left off in 2026. It was the final curtain in the series and if the crowds are anything to go by, AMA Motocross is on a roll. The crowds have been huge but the final showdown at Ironman saw attendance records tumble and televised viewership is also at an all-time high. That means the racing down-under is just kicking off …
