RISING ON UP

With long legs and the ES700 ’ s low-ish bars , a set of risers was on the cards .

Ever since I rode the ES700 away from GasGas HQ at the end of January I ’ ve thought the bars could have been be a little higher . They ’ re not super low , but they ’ re not really quite high enough for me , especially when standing . It ’ s actually not so bad on gravel , but they ’ re a bit low for trail riding . It ’ s certainly not a deal breaker .

MAGPIE FOR SHINY BITS This isn ’ t something that has bugged me enough to get serious about doing something about it . The thought of comparing multiple different bars for bend and rise just seemed like way too much hassle , I ’ d rather be out riding . Besides , I quite like the rise , bend and sweep of the standard bars .
