BMW MOTORRAD – 50 YEARS OF HELMETS

BMW has always danced to its own beat and while other brands stuck to bikes, the Bavarian brand wanted input into the helmets its riders wore. Hence, the company started producing its own. BMW let its designers let off the leash and came up with designs tailored to suit, rather than a one size fits all scenario and were always tied in with their latest machinery. Fifty years later and that design philosophy remains intact. With its motorcycles bristling with the very latest technology, the latest crop of helmets reflect that ethos. So, whether you ride BMW or not, you can get the 50th Anniversary models now from your local BMW Motorrad dealer. No, you don’ t have to park your non-BMW around the corner.

KTM TRACK DUKE...

Yep, the very first track only KTM 1390

Super Duke, as in the Super Duke RR has been let loose, metaphorically speaking. You won’ t get a W. O. F on one but you will certainly be entertained on the track on this ripped and ready to flex, massive twin. Dripping with carbon, bellowing through a full Akrapovic exhaust system and with all the road-going electronics given the flick, this bike is built exclusively for the track, or hillclimb( Jay Lawrence?). Weighing 20kg less than its ' milder '( it is all relevant) road-based brethren, this wonderful example of Mattighofen madness is one of a very limited edition. 100 will be built.
