LOCATION The track sits , roughly , between Naseby and Danseys Pass . It links Danseys Pass Road to Mount Buster Track , offering flexibility for using it as a connecting route , or creating a loop route .
TERRAIN AND GRADING The track alternates between Grade 2 and Grade 3 as it ascends and descends Mount Kyeburn . A majority of the route is 4X4 twin track over hard-packed , rocky terrain . There are two noteworthy creek crossings along the way . The first is an unnamed creek , which runs at around 30cm deep at times of normal flow . The second is Timber Creek , which runs at around 45cm deep at times of normal flow . Neither pose any significant challenge to cross under normal conditions , but at the onset of heavy rain , they can quickly become impassable .
