The ankle pivot moves a bit more freely than you’ d expect from a full-blown motocross boot, so maybe don’ t send 100-footers every ride but they’ ll handle it when asked. They feel purpose-built for riders like me who spend as much time off the bike as on it, usually halfway up a muddy hill, somewhere remote. Materials and buckles feel slightly less premium but still solid. Time will tell how they hold up, but so far, so good. If you’ ve got a hill to climb or a bog to get stuck in, these are well worth a look.
