It was a fantastic round on a track with an ever-changing surface and electrifying action. A popular wild-card entry by none other than TC222, as in Antonio Cairoli on the new Ducati, added to the charged atmosphere and TC showed he is still a force, battling with the leaders early and scoring a 7-8 for his troubles in just his second appearance this season. In a drama-packed first moto, Lucas Coenen was leading until he had a moment and came off in the second lap. Fellow Dutchman, Glenn Coldenhoff didn’ t need to be asked twice and made the most of the opportunity, taking the lead. Coenen was not done yet and made a great recovery, stalking Coldenhoff but at the flag, Coldenhoff gave Fantic its first ever MXGP race victory. Mr Consistent, Kawasaki’ s Romain Febvre, rode to a solid third with
