ELECTRONICS But I have digressed , err , where were we ? Ah , yeah , I was coming to electronics , that ’ s right . The engine has A , B and C power modes . Active , A is for sport riding . Basic , B is for general use . And Comfort , C is for relaxed cruising and wet conditions . There are five levels of traction control for each mode and ‘ off ’ - this is where Suzuki is truly wonderful . Suzuki trusts the rider to make their own decisions about TC - whether they want it on or not . But , the really cool thing is , the rider isn ’ t treated with a smug , holier-than-thou attitude ; it stays in the setting , so the rider can turn it back on if they wish to . Not this annoying , mollycoddling nonsense where the TC is reactivated every time the key is turned off and on again . Of course , the TC works superbly when on and has adjustable intervention to suit all needs , but if a rider chooses to have it off - Suzuki accepts that – fantastic . Also , the engine / gearbox has clutch assist and slipper functions and clutch less shifting for general ease of use and improved function - high-speed backing it in perhaps for those riders who want to play around on track ?
