I ’ m not an experienced enough track rider to discern between whether a molybdenumcarbon-hyper-whacko-alloy frame versus titanium-cobalt-hybrid-nasa-spacesteel is a better construct , ( I ’ m kidding , but you get the point ) but I can tell you that the tracking and rigidity of the frame in this bike feels a lot better in barrelling over crappy surfaces than it did on previous models I ’ ve ridden . Full colour in the screen . Fabulous switchable riding aids with a six-axis IMU deliver riding aids , same as in the R1 . TCS , SCS - Slide Control System and front wheel lift ( LIF ) are all switchable too . This is pretty handy to have in NZ ’ s changeable weather and roading surfaces .
