SMALL BUT PUNCHY Powering the RR200 is a 190.2 cc liquid cooled , six-speed , two-stroke single , which features Rain and Dry power modes . Dry mode packs quite a punch , while Rain mode is more mellow . I guess the thinking is the softer power delivery will enhance traction and it is also gentler for less experienced riders . I found Dry mode to be both tractable and perky . The best of both worlds ? Maybe . In this mode there ’ s a grunty power delivery with decent low-end torque coupled to an almost
125cc-style shrieking top-end . It can tractor up a hill at low revs in a low gear with ease , but it does not have the grunt of a 250 down low . A 250 would probably tractor a gear higher everywhere and a 300 could maybe offer two gears more . However , there is little real time penalty because of the willing nature of the engine if you keep shifting gears holding the throttle open . The plucky little 200 can hold its head high in the torque department too , because the power bridges all gear changes easily . A 125 can drop
