BSA BANTAM RETURNS
An iconic model name that if you are unfamiliar with, ask your parents or grandparents. One of the workhorses of the English motorcycle world back in the forties and is often credited with
20 KIWI RIDER helping the British motorcycle industry shake off the post-war blues. The diminutive machine was revered as a fun, reliable way of travelling. Now the brand has new owners and as its third new generation model, the 350cc machine wears the Bantam moniker for another generation of motorcyclists. NZ pricing is expected to be sharp, with UK machines priced at £ 3499. With classic styling and Euro 5 + compliant, it uses a 334cc liquid-cooled DOHC engine and delivers a classy LAMS legal option at a competitive price. For the youngsters out there BSA stands for Birmingham Small Arms. Yep, they started out making rifles etc for both military and hunting before launching into motorcycles. You will find BSA is not alone in that respect.
