an arms race in the middleweight adventure segment, then Yamaha is declining to participate. And arguably that is a good thing.
LET’ S RIDE We’ ll come back to the spec updates later. Let’ s just ride for now. The World Raid is the big T7, y’ know the one with the mighty 23 litre fuel capacity( split into two tanks). It was also the first one to feature a higher spec suspension setup. Launched in 2022, it certainly gave the long distance adventure rider( especially Australian types who need to make vast distances between fuel stations) a great offering, with the upgraded suspension helping to offset the greater mass. It was still, though, true to the T7 philosophy, remaining an agile, competent performer on the trails. Still pretty much a single-seater, given the decidedly modest accommodation( i. e. seat) afforded a pillion. And this 2026 World Raid is much the same.
