good news, however, is we now run bikes up to around 2001, and the saving grace was the introduction of the 60-years plus class and the Ride What You Bring( anything). Classes now get broken up into their categories by the numbers of riders in each period for Classic, Pre-75, Evo, Pre-81, Linkage Pre-86, Pre-90, and up to 2001. A big thanks must go out to Mike Clark and family, with Chris Steadman taking up the reins after many years to carry on for the next five years or so. The baton was then passed onto Bill Werry and Barry Moody, who have really pumped the Club to where it is today.
FROM STRENGTH TO STRENGTH And now for the update. The Helensville photos supplied by Virogo Photography are from our meet in February at the famous Jeffersons Farm. This Hallowed Ground was used from the mid-70s until the early 80s, with not only International and National Champions making an appearance, but the 1975 World 125 Champion Gaston Rahier visited for our 1976 season. All this was made possible with the Coleman family connections to Suzuki Motorcycles. The February event had a short trail-ride loop around most of the farm, now owned by the Hugh Green Group, with overnight camping
