WSBK SEES RED
topic to avoid if your mates ride Ducatis
A and you want to avoid the smug grins is the latest round of WSBK. There was never any doubt that Nicolo Bulega was odds-on favourite to win, which he duly did. Iker Lecuona has shown he is back to his best and is happy in his work as he escorted Bulega into the winner’ s circle as runner-up, making their team garage a mass of backslaps and smiles. Bulega is a runaway leader early in the season and Lecuona now holds second place. Behind the pair, the scrap for who is going to challenge their dominance is seeing some great racing but once Bulega hits the front, the other teams simply don’ t appear to have a whole of circuit answer. Some have an edge in some sectors, others have it down in other areas but Mr Consistent, once he gets clear air, appears to have something the others don’ t, even the other Ducati riders. The difference seems to be Bulega’ s brilliance and a great team working together in such a way as no weak spots are presenting themselves for others to exploit. The midnight oil needs to be burned to find a response to reel in the flying Aruba. it Racing Ducati # 7.
