Anniversary Gold trim paint scheme and colour-
matched Scout 100th Anniversary badge.
Also setting the 100th Anniversary bike apart
from its regular Scout stablemates are finishing
touches, including a Desert Tan Genuine Leather
Solo Saddle Seat, Black Wire Wheels, Beach Bars,
Luggage Rack and chrome finishes to complete
the heritage-inspired throwback styling – and New
Zealand will officially be seeing the new Scout
model in dealerships.
Polaris Industries spokesman Nathan Moore
told Kiwi Rider that all NZ Dealers will receive one
or two examples of the special edition bike, with
pricing yet to be announced.
Indian will also be releasing a special version of the
Scout Bobber; the Scout Twenty (as in 1920). This
will not be a limited run model and features wire
wheels and a floating saddle in a nod to the original
Scout. Being a bobber it distinguishes itself from
the regular Scout line with a shortened rear fender
and a tidy headlight cowling. The Bobber Twenty
also comes with 10-inch ‘ape-hanger’ handlebars
and a mix of chrome and blacked-out finishes.
