with mine anyway . The thing I really like about them is the plastic pull-loop that ’ s sewn into the underside of the cuff , which makes them really easy to pull on . The long and short of it is the Dalsgaard is a good glove for cooler days in the rain or shine that has some nicely implemented features . They ’ re warm enough for most conditions but still have good lever feel and I can also feel the switchgear , unlike most gloves that use cheap but bulky insulation .

comfortable glove . The fingers are quite long on the size XL , but not overly wide , so if you ’ ve got real thick fingers , you ’ ll probably be looking elsewhere . My biggest trip in them was up to the Cold Kiwi , where they were put through everything - torrential rain , sub five-degree temperatures and balmy 17-degree sunshine . They did well in the wet despite being thoroughly sodden from two hours in heavy rain . My fingers weren ’ t wet , but they felt kind of clammy , I think where the glove through to the Gore-tex liner was wet , but the inside of the liner was cold but dry . They took a couple of days to dry out thoroughly , but that was in my tent not in an airing cupboard . I don ’ t miss the dual pockets of the previous glove and I really like that I can get the glove under the cuffs of my jacket . They kept me dry and seem to be wearing well so far after about four months of heavy use . The only thing I don ’ t like about them is the plastic knuckle protector , it looks ‘ cool ’ in a racer kind of way , but why don ’ t they ever - on any glove - line up with your actual knuckles ?
