that Mat ’ s suit wasn ’ t waterproof as his front was rather damp . He pointed out that my suit cost twice as much as his , but I countered with the fact that my gear was actually waterproof . I ’ d far rather have quality gear that does what it says it ’ ll do , even if it costs more . You forget the price pretty quickly , but can appreciate the quality for the life of the product ... Three-layer Goretex fabric , quality waterproof zippers , a removable inner jacket that doubles as a jacket off the bike , a very neat detachable neck warmer , storm cuffs and D30 armour - the newest wonder material in the world of protection . It ’ s a game changer for comfort .
