KTM REFRESHES 890 ADVENTURE AND REVIVES 790 ADVENTURE

Following in the tyre marks of the 2023 KTM 890 Adventure R is the 890 Adventure and a surprise rebirth of the 790 Adventure . Just like we saw on the new 890 Adventure R , the 890 Adventure gets a refreshed new look with new plastics and windscreen at the front end of the bike , blending into the redesigned fuel tanks . The 890 LC8c engine puts down a healthy 105hp and 100Nm of torque while the WP suspension sees revisions to both the APEX 43 mm front forks and the APEX shock . The forks now come with adjustment for rebound and compression accessible from the top caps while the APEX shock receives new settings which KTM says are orientated for the demands of adventure riding . KTM has placed the 890 Adventure as the more attainable of its adventure machines with a lower seat height than the R model which can be positioned as low as 800mm depending on whether the bike is spec ’ d with a lowering kit and optional low seat . Tech-wise the 890 Adventure scores KTM ’ s new TFT display which has been specifically designed to be more user-friendly . We all know TFTs can get a bit complicated , so it ’ s nice to know that KTM has made an effort here . The new dash moves to bonded mineral glass for extra scratch
