WEEKEND WARRIOR Overall , the 900 is a very accomplished and sophisticated machine that will really suit the weekend warrior who loves an aggressive two-hour blast in the twisties . While the rest of the week the owner has a very polished and generally capable road bike . Its light and agile feel combined with lovely smooth yet responsive lowend power will make it a very pleasant commuter too . By comparison the 800 looks a tad old school , has more lazy and relaxed ergonomics and is happily not quite so edgy ergonomics wise . Conversely , the engine is noisier , harsher and wilder feeling right up-top which can be quite cool ... while not being actually faster than the 900 . Both bikes are great , but the new 900 sure is a slick machine .
