COMFORT The 900 has far more aggressive , almost race like ergonomics and for my tall frame was a slight step backwards in rider comfort compared to the 800 . The older machine can still be ridden in a very business-like fashion on road , but certainly has greater all-day comfort . Leg room on the 900 is reduced and there is more upper body forward lean angle and so a little more weight on the wrists . I also noticed more braking load transferred to the family jewels ... something to do with seat angle and tank shape . However , the 900 feels great when you get a wriggle on with a very intuitive riding position . My guess is a shorter rider will love the ergos on the 900 . The standard seat height is a very reasonable 825mm and with the modest 211kg kerb weight it feels entirely manageable . Also , the seat is adjustable , plus there are alternative seats which in total offer six different heights – so , definitely something suitable for everyone .
