With the stock ES700 Enduro sounding more put-put than brap-braaap , our longtermer gets treated to a Remus slip-on muffler .

’ m not generally a fan of loud exhausts , mainly , if I ’ m to be totally honest , because if I ’ m going to speed I ’ d rather do it with a degree of stealth . Nothing tells a cop that you ’ re coming more than an obnoxiously loud pipe – I can just imagine them rubbing their hands with glee at the fine they ’ re going to hand out . That said , I do like a bit of character and I think a 700cc single should at least have some bite to the sound . I find the standard muffler on the ES700 to be whisper quiet and barely audible – thanks Euro5 . So , when GasGas asked if I wanted to try its Remus slip-on , I was all ears . It ’ s EU Approved , so can be used without changing any legality , and promises to drop a bit of weight , give a
