should be given some respect . The six-speed gearbox gives a very linear spread , and there ’ s no unexpected big hit of power anywhere throughout . This is great because it means it can be ridden very aggressively . This is a bike that wants to go fast , and I think it has the ability to compete with bigger bore bikes , like the 450s . When riding it , you can just feel the urge of the motor - it likes to go fast . When thrown into tricky terrain , like in a creek bed , the RR300 really shows its true colours . When accelerating it feels light and like the
bike is sitting up on top of the terrain and not down in it , reacting to every bump . I most noticed this when riding out of the creek bed , where there were slippery rocks and a deep pool of water . I was expecting to ride out in a bit of a mess , but the RR300 seemed to just skip on out , which I was blown away by . On the more open sections of track , the 300 is a weapon . I found I was never really revving it right out as it would happily be right up to pace feeling without the engine working too much at all . I didn ’ t feel I ever needed to adjust the
