If your idea of a cruiser is 168hp and 126Nm of torque in a 229kg package, look no further … Available in Burning Red Lava or Burning Black Lava, the XDiavel V4 is a head turner par excellence. Although the XDiavel V4 has four riding modes: Sport, Touring, Urban and Wet, it appears to be missing any that include cruise in the label. Quickshift, cornering ABS, launch control, wheelie control( not standard on all‘ cruisers’) as well as cruise control( finally found a reference to ' cruising ') and a 6.9-inch colour TFT screen, the XDiavel V4 has a seat height of 770mm despite a more padded seat than any previous model. The XDiavel V4 is a cruiser, Ducati style.

Cormac Buchanan has the speed, he proved that in qualifying for the Catalunya round of the Moto3 World Championship. But, and there is often a‘ but’ in racing, he is struggling to turn his pace into results in the last few rounds. A crash part way through the race put paid to his latest attempt, unable to emulate the confidence and feeling on the bike that he had in qualifying. Moto3 is riding on the edge, right on the edge, every corner, every lap. Buchanan is still making great strides, learning the tracks, getting quicker at each track he visits and knows he can ride at the front, we just wish him all the best as he tries to nail down those tiny gains that make such a difference at the other-worldly level he is competing at.
