With another opportunity to ride a Triumph 400, it didn’ t take long to remember why I enjoyed the previous ones so much. Triumph’ s smallest machines are light, super punchy and just … easy. The fuelling is good, which is hard to find on most new, sub 10k bikes, the brakes work very well and the suspension passes the mustard, I really couldn’ t complain at the standard setup, it works just well enough. The latest in the lineup, the Tracker 400, in particular, adds a new look to the range. There are some edgy graphics, number boards and scrambler-inspired, blocktreaded tyres. It all feels very inspired, giving off the right vibes and catches the eye.
