MIND THE GAP – MM93 COMING THROUGH

The Aragon weekend sure had the sparks flying – from Marc Marquez’ machine as he forgot to disengage the rear ride height mechanism and he ground a few grams off his Ducati in the first two turns. That error saw him get passed – briefly. Unbeaten at Aragon, # 93 simply made his way back to the rear tyre of Bezzecchi( Aprilia) until the two had a 300km / h plus battle down the long straight. It was a braking duel and Marquez never looses those, hitting the front and right behind him was Pedro Acosta( KTM) who used Bez’ discomfort to slide past and glue himself to next year’ s teammate, Marquez’ rear tyre. There he stayed until Marc managed to find the pace to build up a gap. He was being pressed hard though. Marquez had two front end folds to recover,

The gap was huge when he was out for surgery but his form has been reminiscent of old. He has been collecting points way faster than anyone else and is now a very real threat to Jorge Martin’ s championship aspirations. If Marc Marquez can pull off the title this season, some fans of another colour might have to line up that humble pie and get a spoon. Someone had to say it ….
