After last season’ s injury ended his ambition of retaining the title, Australian Jett Lawrence stomped his authority on proceedings by winning it back with a round to spare this season. Having just turned 22 after his latest win, it means he now has nine professional titles to his name and time is on his side to get a whole bunch more. By dominant, we mean taking nine from the ten rounds. To make things more impressive for the Hunter family, while Jett didn’ t have a perfect weekend in the previous round, Hunter scored a 2-2 scoresheet to top the round. It was his first overall in this, his rookie season, and pretty much put a lid on things for the Australian brothers this year. With the final round already done and dusted by the time you read this( happening now), don’ t expect Jett to be a bystander. He intends finishing the season in the same trademark winning style. What is yet to be confirmed is the rest of the podium. Elder brother, Hunter, is looking good to make it a sibling lockout as he sits in a relatively good second place in the standings – so can’ t say yet, and don’ t want to jinx it.
