THE LENSES There are three lenses ; clear , tint and mirror . I used the red Phoenix Mirror lens on my redframed Blur the entire six days of the Cape York tour and loved it . Especially when riding towards the setting sun . Overcast days here in NZ would probably require a clear lens . What makes the lenses better than most is that as standard they are “ Dual Pane ”, so they do not fog up . Even in the humid tropical forests of north Queensland , pushing , carrying and shoving when you normally get steamed up , my Blur goggles stayed fog free for clear vision . The lenses have an anti-scratch coating for durability and they have UV protection . They come as standard with pins for tear-offs , although I haven ’ t given them a go as yet . The brochure says the Triple Foam is for comfort and moisture wicking ability ... a bit techy for me , I just know they work well . Because these are a ' frameless ' design , there is a very wide field of vision . Now , I don ’ t normally wear goggles , just my glasses , as I don ’ t race any more , but on this trip , they were essential and I was able to wear my glasses inside them for the whole trip - a real bonus for wearers of glasses . There is a roll-off system available which comes with a clear lens with roll-off capsules attached . This lens has a cool raised box pattern where the tear off film fits and stops the film from sticking to the lens in the wet . There is
The best goggle case ever
also a tear off ' mud flap ' that fits on the lens along the top of the tear-off film to reduce the chance of water , mud and dust getting behind it from the top . Buying the full roll-off goggle
The Roll Off Lens has the box section raised porton to stop the roll off film sticking to the lens .
