BLUR GOGGLES

Greg Power of Power Adventures put the Blur B60 Magnetic Goggles through their paces .

We tested the Blur Magnetic Goggle System in the most arduous conditions a trail rider would ever consider , when 10 of us rode the Cairns to Cape York tour using the new Blur Goggles with the Magnetic lens attachment system and , without a doubt , all reckoned that they ' re the best they ' ve used .

INSIDE THE BOX The goggles come in a fancy cardboard gift box , which contains a solid goggle holder to keep your goggles from crushing , scratch free and any other damage when packed away in your gear bag . There is room for a spare lens in the holder . In addition , there is a soft cloth goggle bag that the goggles slip into before putting them in the goggle holder for extra protection .
There are a couple of unique features , with the most obvious being the magnetic retaining system for the lens . Just flip up the strap brackets and pop the lens out . The magnets are quite firm so a push is required , and out they come . You can then clean the lens completely without the fear of scratching or missing bits in the corners . When replacing the lens , you only need to touch the edges and it snaps back into place as the magnets are attracted to their opposite poles . Then it is just a matter of snapping the strap holders back in place and you ’ re away . Likewise for lens replacement . It takes less than 10 seconds and you don ’ t smudge the new lens when installing as I ' ve always tended to do . That ' s a huge bonus .
