However , it ’ s the business end of engine power where the interest lays . And make no mistake , this is a quick bike that likes to wheelie with a decent top-end – very much the best of both worlds , a nice road bike and a quick track day machine .
BOSCH BRAIN To help keep the rubber side down , clever Bosch electronics handle engine management .
Rain , Street , Sport , and Track ( optional ) are the modes available . There are seven levels of traction control and anti wheelie , as well as off . A quick-shifter is available as an optional extra . The rider can configure their required combination of wheel slip and wheelie to match their skill level and preference for most enjoyment . A mechanical slipper clutch controls ‘ backing it in ’ duties and any chance of unwanted lock ups on sudden down changes . The engine has two oil pumps for better control of overall lubrication .
