MAC ATTACK IN JAPAN
The Japanese round of the MotoGP calendar was the first time Cormac Buchanan had raced at the challenging Motegi circuit. Southland’ s racing superstar enjoyed the event, scoring a path into Q2 with the fourth fastest time. On a circuit with seriously fast curves, Motegi can be brutal on debutant racers but Buchanan seemed to take it in his stride, getting faster and faster as his confidence grew. Now that bodes well for his future. The Indonesian round at Pertamina proved a bit disappointing but he did make some serious ground after a luke-warm qualifying. Unfortunately a red flag stopped the race just when Cormac had made contact with the point scoring group, which was hugely disappointing but as usual, he is taking the positives to the next round at Phillip Island, Australia, which will
