a Yamaha. Pata Maxus Yamaha’ s Locatelli recovered from a poor qualifying result to score in both full-length races and whilst GYTR GTR Yamaha’ s Remy Gardner was fastest of the Yamahas in qualifying and scored points in Race One, he had to sit out the remainder of the weekend after being ruled unfit when it was determined that he’ d fractured his wrist whilst crashing in FP2. Loka’ s teammate Xavi Vierge, who has now been signed for 2027 to replace Bautista at Barni Spark, had a dreadful weekend. He crashed out of both full-length races and finished out of the points in the Sprint Race making Cremona his first non-scoring weekend since Round One at Philip Island back in February. Manzi, on the second GYTR GTR bike, had his best weekend of the season with two eleventh place finishes in the full-length races.

Petrucci has admitted that he just isn’ t getting to grips with the bike and acknowledges that his riding style doesn’ t work with a bike that was adapted to Toprak’ s unique style. On the other BMW, Miguel Oliveira appeared to be making some progress, a ninth place qualifying result setting him up in fair shape for the weekend but crashes in both full length races and ninth in the Sprint Race saw him walk away with just two points from the weekend to Petrucci’ s six.
UNFIT & DNF MGM Optical Ducati’ s Taz Mackenzie was ruled unfit ahead of Cremona and experienced WorldSBK man Loris Baz stepped up to sub for him but it was not a great return to the fray for the Frenchman, finishing all three races well
