AND THE WINNER IS...
Triumph’ s Originals 2026 competition has been judged, and the winner is Spain’ s Tamarit Motorcycles ' entry. Bike builders from around the world based their concepts on Triumph Scrambler and the judges were journalists, custom specialists, Steve McQueen’ s grandson( as is right and correct given the history of the name) and the public at large. It was a blend of judges inspecting up close and public voting on which machine they considered worthy. Tamarit has now built 210 custom motorcycles from its Spanish workshop, all with pride obvious in the finished article. This was no different. Functional, sharp and steeped in the history of the model name, it was the pick of the judges and its lean desert racer theme appealed to 33 percent of all the voters, handing the team a clear win. Hmm, a desert model next, Mr Triumph? It does look mighty tasty.…
