HONDA‘ BATTLE OF THE TWINS’ COMP WINNER
The world of custom is well and truly alive with another international build competition, this time with Honda’ s 750cc twin, as in the motor used by the Hornet and the Transalp, so builds were from both the street and the adventure demographics. Taking out the overall win was this build from
Mototrofa in Portugal. The Mugen is a super aggressive twist on the Honda Hornet and is the second machine from Mototrofa to win over the past few years. The way everything works together and the level of finish are trademarks of the dedicated team..
LORIS CAPIROSSI CON- FIRMED AS A LEGEND
Why it took so long for the fact to be confirmed remains a mystery but finally,‘ Capi’ is officially a MotoGP Legend, receiving his medal recently. A few stats regarding the Italian ' s career … 328 GP starts, 29 wins in three classes( including Ducati ' s first win in MotoGP with the GP3 in 2003), 99 podiums, 17 years between his first and his final win … Only Rossi had a longer run. Now he is Race Direction’ s representative in MotoGP, so still giving back big-time to the sport he loves. One of the most amazing characters in the sport, you can but doff your cap to the living legend that is Loris Capirossi. One of the few of the breed to be as liked and respected by his competitors as his teammates and fans.
