Danilo Petrucci on the other BMW was only able to manage 18th, just another in a run of poor finishes that have left Petrux visibly disappointed that what might be his last season in WorldSBK is ending on such a low note. SPRINT RACE Montella’ s messy weekend got even messier in the Tissot Superpole Sprint Race. A poor start landed him back in the pack and an overly ambitious attempt to pass Sam Lowes won him a long lap penalty. To his credit, he attacked the long lap loop losing only one place, but the damage was already done, dropping him from sixth on the grid to thirteenth and no points scored. It also left him to start from eleventh place start in Race Two. Again, the damage done was limited by Alex Lowes finishing the Sprint Race out of the points and Sam able to score just a single point. Montella rides his luck
