THE SKINNY For me, there’ s not a heck of a lot I’ d change on the Sherco 300SEF. Tyres are a personal thing and, like most riders, I have my go-to knobbies that I fit every time- so I’ d change them. I’ d also spring the suspension for my weight. But other than that, it’ s a nice bike with some great kit on it as standard. To go back to my original thoughts about a 300 four-stroke being a sweet-spot, I think it could well be. The 300SEF is a bike I could race, trail-ride and also stare at it in the shed whilst enjoying garage beers / cocktails( delete as fits your preferences). The only way YOU will know for sure, is to ride one, which I highly suggest you do.
