DUCATI DESMO 450 2027
Both the Desmo450 MX and the Desmo450
MX Factory have new livery and a bunch of updates underneath the new livery. After just its first year racing in the 450 class, the Italian machines have forged a name for themselves as a serious contender. The factory philosophy sees both the production machine and the factory offering develop in parallel, shunning the old method of spacing out the upgrades. This sees the upgrades of the Factory also lavished upon the production model right from the model year release. A new final drive ratio, strengthened starter, new foot controls, exhaust manifold, fork slider protection, filler and real time maintenance system that measures actual use, not simply time. That and new livery means the customer is ready to tackle the next season with the learning from top-tier racing already in-situ
TAR BABIES ON DIRT
OK, not your typical tarmac guys, but it is cool to see F1 and MotoGP young guns having fun in the dirt. Pedro Acosta is a freak on two wheels in MotoGP and is always up for a challenge. His rival in the video is Australian F1 ace, Oscar Piastri. They take on a dirt track, albeit in an off-roader with four wheels. It is interesting to see the different approaches from the two and four wheeled world. If the course was done on two wheels, it would be way less close as Acosta is more than a little handy on a dirt bike whereas Piastri has never tried. Nothing is proven but it is entertaining as a bystander. To watch the video, head to Quadlock’ s website, as they secured the phones to the roll cage.
