and smoothness that has you in license losing territory while you are still gazing around looking at the view, completely oblivious to the angst PC plod could bring to your day. The power delivery is just brilliant. Strong, seamless power without the hint of a hit or step in the power. I guess you could argue the motor is more like a mini ZX-14. Part of the reason the power delivery is so nice is a little more weight has been added to the flywheel which just smooths it all out a whisker. Also, 5th and 6th gears have been raised to make better use of the greater torque and aid fuel economy. The gearbox quick-shifter is the best I’ ve used, very slick on the up-shift and just as nice on the down-shift which is a rarity.
200 % MORE Big Super Sports bikes are phenomenal in almost every way, but they hate me because I’ m tall, and I dislike them for it. Discomfort is a real issue for me, they’ re just too cramped. This is where the 1100SX is brilliant. You get the majority of their useable performance, but 200 % more comfort, maybe more. The bars are nice and high, quite straight and at a comfy reach. Definitely more ZX-14 than ZX-10 here. The seat is well padded and footpegs reasonably placed, so your heels are down where they should be and not up behind your ears. Decent distances can be covered in comfort and the small, sporty looking screen is adjustable- in the high position there’ s surprisingly good protection. Comfort wise, the
