track , not exactly the perfect conditions for a 200 , but the power off the bottom is very responsive and it pulls in such a linear way , without the more aggressive tone of its 300cc bigger brother , but with more than the smaller capacity 125cc machine . I initially struggled to find a suspension setting that was comfortable ; going back and forward with clickers on the front and rear , but I think the suspension valving is too soft and the springs aren ’ t stiff enough for my weight . I ’ m well over the bike ’ s spring rates which are suited to 64-72kg riders . Not helping was riding a bike with enduro valving it at a motocross track . The fork caps have hand-adjustable clickers so I was able to adjust the fork preload to try and account for the style of track and my weight . The bike did start to feel like it handled better , but it needs finer tuning . I prefer the KYB suspension platform that comes on the Beta Race editions because they have better adjustability for fine tuning . Out of curiosity , I timed myself around the track on the 200 to compare it to my current race bike , a 2023 Kawasaki KX250XC . After a sprint lap on each bike , my lap time on the 200
