stellar under high-speed heavy-loading , but are buttery smooth in their application , which adds to the slow speed performance . The ribbed seat was very comfortable , and the pillion seat easily handles passengers . The pegs come with rubber , but only inserts thank goodness , which were quietly removed to ensure I could actually use them come some rain . The big , circular mirrors extending off the handlebars are fabulously manoeuvrable and all encompassing ; it sounds like a small thing , but quite a surprising number of motorcycles come with finicky , small mirrors that offer absolutely bugger all vision . Not a difficult problem to solve , but all the nicer when the manufacturer does it for you .
ACTUALLY SCRAMBLING With all the talk of the capabilities of the Scrambler , it certainly has some limitations . Gravel roads this motorcycle handles fine . Well , even . However , slow it down , and all of sudden you ’ ll be feeling the extra weight , despite the grooved , dual-purpose tyres provided by the
