NZ THINKING In a nut shell I believe the Yamaha Tenere 700 is bloody great bike for New Zealand riders , and one that is super well priced . It ’ s good enough to give the pricier competition serious cause for concern – it ’ s been the best selling bike in New Zealand so far this year . I have a feeling the T700 will prove extremely reliable and not difficult to work on – two essential ingredients for an adventure bike . I love the fact that it ’ s not too complex electronically with no TC or cruise control etc and ABS that ’ s very simple to deactivate , something I ’ d definitely like to see become a trend with other brands . In essence the T700 is a bike that works , and works very well here in New Zealand . The Tenere 700 is a real adventure touring bike for the masses ... at a very sharp right price .
