changes the bike’ s ignition timing – in theory this means the bike will increase acceleration and increase traction, ultimately making for a better start when racing. There are three different power settings that can be changed
in different terrain conditions depending on the amount of grip and the track layout. I think the 2018 KX250F is an outstanding bike with a great power delivery which could be used for both racing and trail riding. The bike exceeded my expectations in many different areas, especially the clutch feel, braking and power delivery. The only minor thing which I didn’ t like was how hard the air filter was to access, this may be testament to how easy the KTM is, but this is one thing I picked up on. Overall I think this is an outstanding bike which can be both raced and trail ridden by a wide range of rider abilities.
