WORKSHOP
SCREWDRIVERS A couple of different sized slotted( flat blade) Phillips and Pozidriv screwdrivers( use JIS if you have a Japanese bike) will fit most suspension damping adjusters and bodywork fasteners. Phillips and Pozidriv screwdrivers are not the same. Phillips screwdrivers will fit reasonably in Pozidriv screws but not the other way around; a Pozidriv screwdriver will slip and damage the head of the screw. The easy way to tell is that Pozidriv screwdrivers have four additional points of contact between the four main contact points. A Pozidriv screw head has a line embossed at 45 degrees to the slots for the driver, making an eight-pointed star, rather than a four pointed cross for Phillips.
OIL FILTER WRENCH The oil filter will never come off without this. If you want to change your bike’ s life blood you need one. Get one with a hole for a ratchet. You can then use your torque wrench to tighten it correctly.
