It was expected that CFMOTO would bring a bunch of brand new bikes to the EICMA show. What wasn’ t so expected was what was on that stand. Throwing the shrouds off their flagship prototype, they stated their intentions in the sportsbike arena. The V4 SR-RR prototype is a 997cc 90-degree V4 that puts out in excess of 210hp( 157kW) and tips the scales at 200kg. With a fully comprehensive electronics package as well as a stunning aero design, it is a real eye-catcher and shows what they have learned and created in the racing department in recent years. No launch time has yet been announced but the prototype did look very much showroom ready. Also on display was the 675NK GP. Leaning on their racing efforts, the GP has a host of performance parts, as well as the Aspar Racing Team livery, paying homage to their success in FIM Moto3. One of the big talking points at the CFMOTO stand was the new 1000MT-X. With 111hp and 405Nm of torque, the new model sees CFMOTO enter the 1000cc adventure class with a bike with a dry weight of 199kg, a 22.5litre fuel capacity, six-axis electronics, heated grips, TFT dash, cruise control, adjustable handlebars and screen and Brembo brakes as standard fare.
