With the FIM MXGP season done and dusted for another year, tyre manufacturer, Pirelli, were looking pretty smug. You can hardly blame them as Simon Langenfelder took the MX2 title on Pirelli Scorpion MX32 hoops, giving the tyre brand its 89th World Championship. On the way to the season titles, those hoops were on the winning machines at 30 out of the 39 races( the final races were canned due to flooding).
