Eco Race wins and three Italian MotoRally titles on the trot. The Aprilia Tuareg Racing team has just added the European Tout Terrain( All Terrain) Rally Cup Championship. Thomas Marini has been Mr Consistent all season but the final round saw him take his first overall win in the series. On his way to the win, he took out both the overall victory and the M5 class for the event, featuring the twin-cylinder machines. Taking all four days, and on the podium for every single stage therein, it was a convincing performance on board his Aprilia Tuareg. The closest rider to him was teammate, Jacopo Cerutti, so the Aprilia team was stoked with the crown. Still, no rest, as the team was already well into preparation for the Addax Rally in Morocco at the end of October. Although they were expected to do well in the M5 class, their win against the nimble and specialised single-cylinder machines saw a few teams look a little longer at the slim twin.
