METZELER’ S NEW SHOES
EICMA will be the big reveal for a trio of new tyres for Metzeler, although the model names will be familiar to the loyal. The new Sportec 01, Sportec 01RS and Karoo 4 Street will have a familiar ring to the Metzeler lovers. The tyres see new technology, giving more of what the hoops were known for as well as longer life. How can that be so? It is all about the new technology embedded in the new tread. With the new Sportec 01RS, Metzeler has its sportiest road legal tyre ever, suitable for the
track rider who also rides on the street. The Sportec 01 is the direct replacement for the M9RR; the new rubber promising more grip, particularly in cold and damp conditions, an area where the M9RR already had a great reputation. The new Karoo 4 Street is there to give the adventure tourer a bold new 70 / 30 option that ' s quieter than the Karoo Street and better on the gravel. Arrival dates are still to be confirmed but we have requests ….
