DUCATI TO GET DIRTY IN MXGP

Swiss rider , Jeremy Seewer will be racing the Ducati Desmo450 MX in the 2025 MXGP World Championship with the famous road bike brand making a stunning entrance into the dirt world . Seewer brings to the table two runner-up MX2 season results ( 2016 and 2017 ) as well as three MXGP runner-up spots ( 2019 , 2020 and 2022 ) and was third in 2023 . The 30-year-old is currently running fourth this season so is bringing serious form to the Ducati team . The bike , developed by the much revered ( in the road racing world ) Ducati Corse , the company ’ s high performance arm , has had the assistance of Antonio Cairoli and Alessandro Lupino in the development stage and really hit the dirt at pace on debut . With another major player involved , expect the 2025 season to be one where all manufacturers put in the extra R & D to stake their claim at the top of the podium . Not only has Lupino been a key cog in the development process , he has already taken out the super competitive Italian MX1 title . The success being that much sweeter being on an Italian manufactured machine . Meanwhile he and Cairoli are busy with the yet to be launched 250cc version which will follow the same path as its 450cc sibling , tackling the intense Italian MX2 Series before launching into MXGP the following year .
