for want of a better way to describe it – there is a little more mechanical feel. Some will love this more robust feedback, others not so much. For the road riding I did, Dynamic power mode suited very nicely, but the Road suspension mode setting was certainly more comfortable than the Dynamic setting while not restricting its capabilities in any way for road use. Just roll on the power, give the quick-shifter a nudge or two and relish this combination being certain in the fact the 1300 is quick and comfortable and very wellbalanced making for an exceptional mileeater. Distance riding is all about comfort and weather protection making the screen very important. In the low position it does little for my height, but looks cool, and in the high position it is quite effective without looking too bulky. It is raised and lowered by hand which I discovered after scrolling through the menu looking for the up / down button for more than a little while. Adding to the comfort are great all round ergos and a comfy seat.
