As the saying goes, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and, while that’ s certainly true, I also think it’ s true that BMW’ s R1300RS is the most beautiful Boxer to come out of BMW’ s design studios to date. It’ s a big claim, but the unit we tested in its traditionally coloured white, blue and red is absolutely stunning. As a true sports-tourer, the R1300RS maintains the bold and muscular stance and aggressive presence of a‘ sportsbike-you-can-tour-on’ in the traditional sense while still boasting the fit, finish and integration of a high-end tourer. Thankfully, the BMW habit of using weird looking headlights and uneven shapes appears gone forever, happy days.
